Responsible for achieving sales targets by ensuring the availability of sufficient stocks at distributors / retail outlets and driving demand through personal contacts and working with distributors to push stocks into the market. Also responsible for reporting on competitor activities within the assigned territory, and monitoring market trends. Coordinate with hospital staff & HODs to ensure goodwill and increase product penetration in hospitals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Manage distribution channel by developing relationship with distributors/retailers/hospital stores, regular visits to the stores/hospitals to understand their needs and challenges.
• Ensure timely delivery of products to customers as per the customer requirement.

• Conduct market research by visiting hospitals and health care facilities regularly, develop relationships with key users of our products, build rapport with doctors and nurses and other decision makers in order to understand their requirements, needs and constraints; report on competitor's activities and feedback from end-users on competitors' products.
• Provide technical support to customers by attending calls from customers and conduct training sessions on products to customers and distributors.
• Achieve territorial sales targets as agreed upon with the Regional Sales Manager. Maintain MIS in the agreed formats for - Customer Profiling / Prospecting, Must Call list updating / field reports, Secondary sales statement and others as required.
• Plan and execute marketing programs and strategies as defined by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain relations with KOLs in the region. Organize CMEs, participate in conferences and trade fairs, and engage in other marketing initiatives to promote the organization's products.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calling and emailing. Build pipeline and close deal.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Science Graduate
Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare industry, especially in Hospital Supply segment. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Medical Device Industry.
Competences: Excellent communication skills, Presentation skills, Analytical and negotiation skills, Time management skills, Selling Skills, Multi-Tasking abilities, OT experience is must
Physical Demands: Requires extensive travel within the geographical area
Travel Requirements: More than 75% of the time
