Job Summary
The main purpose of this position is to grow the business in all aspects i.e. sales, profitability, market share & market penetration for assigned accounts / area of responsibility by planning, organizing, directing and controlling resources including the development of long term plans, forecasting future trends and analyzing sales statistics.
Responsibilities
• Achievement of territorial sales budget, profit and market share objectives through execution of approved Sales and Marketing Plans and effective control of expenses.
• Maintenance of good relations with distributors and/or agents, and their visits if any.
• Monitoring of competition and feedback on market information.

• Organization and implementation of promotional campaigns targeted at both the end user and the intermediary.
• Execution of new product launches.
• Ensure regular customer visits as per defined norms or requirements.
• To achieve targets without compromising on ethical standards.
• Ensuring that orders generated from institutions are supplied on time and in full (quantity & range).
• Identifying tender/rate contract opportunities and ensuring timely communication to sales team for subsequent follow up.
• Implementing welfare measures for institutional customers as per the guidelines laid down by the Company.
• Coordinating with field staff to ensure timely submission of documents to the Company e.g., Claims, Warranty, Annual Maintenance Contracts etc.
• Communicating to sales team regarding special schemes launched by the Company from time to time.
• Monitoring the activities of sales representatives under his purview.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science/Pharmacy with Master's degree in Marketing OR MBA
Minimum 8-10 years experience in Medical Devices Industry. Experience in Urology segment would be preferred.
Knowledge of local language is essential.
Excellent people skills and ability to interact with all levels of management, hospital personnel and physicians.
Should have the ability to speak, write and read in English & Local Language.
Computer literacy - MS Office.
Demonstrated ability to effectively use PC based software packages, World Wide Web and E-mail
