Salesforce Data Architect

The US Region Analytics & Insights Marketing Research Team is part of the Commercial & Customer Operations (CCO) organization, responsible for driving a high-performing sales culture, enhancing the capabilities of our sales teams, improve the "One BD" customer experience to accelerate growth and profitability.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Salesforce Reporting & Analytics, we are seeking a Salesforce Data Architect experienced in:

  • Driving solutions in Salesforce.com reporting and data engineering tools, such as Lightning Reports & Dashboard, Pipeline Inspection, CRM Analytics, Workbench, Salesforce Inspector;


  • Applying knowledge of understanding of the complex data structures, in how they relate to business processes and outcome, to external sales datasets via MS Office Power BI tools, to provide on-demand business insights for forecasting, demand planning, and productivity metrics.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Engineering:

  • Lend expertise to support the design, development, and maintenance of USRsales data pipelines


  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and availability of data across the organization


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure master data alignment

2. Analytics Reporting:

  • Support development and implementations of advanced analytics solutions, including predictive analytics, machine learning models, and business intelligence tools, to support decision-making


  • Influence the design and development of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders


  • Partner with stakeholder teams to identifyrequirements and establishkey performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that drive productivity and efficiency

3. Collaboration Communication:

  • Partner with business stakeholders and developer teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data and analytics solutions


  • Communicate complex data findings and insights in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders


  • Promote a data-driven culture across the organization, advocating for the use of data and analytics in decision-making processes

4. Project Management:

  • Manage multiple data engineering and analytics projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope, working to provide deliverables through a lean-agile sprint model


  • Oversee the procurement and implementation of data platforms, tools, and technologies


  • Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project outcomes

Education & Experience Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science or business discipline


  • 3 years of Salesforce experience


  • Experience with Direct and Channel sales ecosystems


  • Experience with the full sales cycle, from lead to cash, and familiarity with how post-sales teams enable, expand, & renew customers


  • Experience with querying in SQL, familiarity with Machine Learning, ETL


  • Experience in enterprise reporting solutions; healthcare experience strongly preferred


  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, in development and delivering reporting solutions


  • Comfortable in Agile methodologies, QA procedures, UAT, and creating front-end user documentation


  • Strong presentation skills, both written and technical, with the ability to address both technical and non-technical audiences


  • Experience with visualization reporting tools


  • Gathering and analyzing aggregate and objective feedback related to solution development


  • Highly proficient in Excel, Database development (i.e. MS Access, SQL, Oracle), Data Mining tools and SAP BI/BW


  • Deep understanding in data relations, data standardization and analytics


  • Highly strategic and analytical problem solver with solid business acumen. Able to identify key business information needs through dialog and assist in development clear strategic recommendations on how to provide the desired insights.


  • Knowledge of data warehousing principles and dimensional models and how data is sourced as a bonus


  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


  • Experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards


  • Salesforce Administrator 201 Certification
