About the role

As Sales Technical Specialist in Research segment you willbe responsible for helping the organization to acquire better brand recognition and financial growth. To coordinate with company executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins. You develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and lead all aspects of growth projects, making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and handle strategic partnerships to grow business
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels. Conduct ongoing market research
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients. Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
  • Promote the company's products/new release/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences
  • Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and connect with partners
  • Track, identify and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline. Track and report on the status of proposal components

About you

  • Flow cytometry knowledge
  • 3-5 years commercial experience. Marketing knowledge is a plus
  • Molecular Biology experience with a focus on NGS (Next Generation Sequencing)
  • Knowledge and/or validated network with universities and research laboratories
  • Proficient English
  • Availability to travel
  • Ability to work as a team with the aim of satisfying customer pains, adopting market trends and presenting winning solutions
