Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the Sales Operations Analyst role focuses on supporting various sales compensation-related activities, including the execution and administration of sales compensation incentive plans, sales compensation payouts, and sales reporting. The ideal candidate will utilize a range of analytical tools to inform business decisions through data analytics, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and demonstrate professional business acumen in all compensation-related tasks. Additionally, responsibilities will include performing data validation, providing training on data tools, and conducting ad hoc sales analytics. This position emphasizes collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, HR, Business Intelligence, and Finance.
Job Responsibilities
- Support compensation-related activities, including bonus plan design, target setting, performance reporting, and payouts.
- Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to leverage data analysis and visualization tools for driving actionable business decisions.
- Lead, manage, or participate in Sales Operations projects as needed.
- Perform data validation and end-user testing of dashboards to ensure data accuracy, usability, and self-service dashboarding capabilities as required.
- Provide training and onboarding for new associates, develop training plans for all user levels, and maintain up-to-date training documents.
- Conduct other ad hoc sales analytics as required.
Education and Experience:
- University Degree
- With at least four (4) years of relevant experience with at least two (2) years focused on sales operations, sales analytics, sales compensation, or data reporting analytics.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities: Conditional Formulas, Pivot Tables, Data Modeling.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Other preferred skills include Power BI, SAP, Power Query/DAX, and Salesforce.
