Job Summary:
The Regional Healthcare Consultant will be responsible for working in partnership with health care professionals to provide technical support for our products and services by providing education on safe product use and assisting customers in optimizing their clinical workflows using our solutions. This role will also work closely with other members of the sales organization to develop relationships within hospitals and help to create opportunities for additional business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and clinical knowledge in one or more specialties.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients, physicians, nurses, administrators, and staff on all aspects of medical systems products, including but not limited to product features and benefits, usage guidelines, and safety information.
  • Conduct educational seminars and events at hospital sites, both independently and in conjunction with other members of the sales team.
  • Work with hospital pharmacists, procurement departments, and purchasing decision makers to improve market share through product education and demonstrations.
  • Provide feedback to the sales organization regarding market trends, competitive information, and product needs.
  • Assist in preparation of complex proposals, quotes, and contract negotiations.
  • Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities performed and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage time effectively to meet customer requirements while maintaining high standards of personalized attention.
  • Stay abreast of current issues affecting the industry and keep up-to-date on new technologies, products, and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Operations to coordinate efforts related to product promotion, pricing strategy, supply chain management, technical support, etc.
  • Represent the company in professional organizations, trade shows, conferences, and other relevant events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare consultative selling preferred.
  • Clinical experience in one or more specialty areas strongly desired.
  • Ability to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing effective relationships with healthcare professionals, key influencers, and thought leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license required.
