Job Summary
The Regional Clinical Manager (SEA Medical) is responsible for driving clinical strategy, sales enablement, and market development across Southeast Asia. The scope includes MDS and MMS-Infusion portfolio.
This role plays a key part in ensuring clinical differentiation, shaping customer engagement strategies, and strengthening internal sales and clinical capabilities to support business growth.
The position requires a strategic thinker, clinical expert, and commercial enabler, capable of leading cross-functional teams, engaging key healthcare stakeholders, and integrating clinical insights into sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute clinical strategies to drive market adoption and differentiation of vascular access solutions.
- Lead initiatives that improve patient safety, quality of care, and adherence to best practices in healthcare facilities.
- Align clinical trends, evidence, and regulatory changes with business strategies to strengthen market positioning.
Clinical Sales Support & Enablement
- Equip sales and clinical teams with skills in clinical selling, objection handling, and product positioning.
- Design and implement sales training programs to ensure clinical competency and customer engagement.
- Support strategic deals by providing tailored clinical justifications to address healthcare priorities.
Market Development & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospital administrators, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with professional societies and government bodies to align with clinical guidelines and influence adoption.
- Conduct clinical programs and market analysis to identify gaps and showcase product impact.
Training & Thought Leadership
- Develop and deliver clinical education for internal teams and healthcare professionals via workshops and virtual platforms.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert at conferences, forums, and advisory panels.
- Foster continuous learning through clinical forums and cross-country knowledge sharing initiatives.
Business & Organizational Integration
- Integrate clinical insights into business strategies, acting as a bridge between clinical and commercial functions.
- Support new product introductions by aligning clinical messaging with business objectives and removing adoption barriers.
- Establish KPIs and track engagement effectiveness to drive data-driven decisions and optimize execution.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, pharmacy or medicine.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in clinical or sales or marketing functions in healthcare industry
- Experienced in driving KDM & KOL work groups, roundtables etc.
- Training and education and contributing to business strategy
- Experience in reading, understanding and interpreting clinical publications and studies
- Infusion, medication preparation and administration, IV practices
- Full proficiency in MS-Office (Powerpoint, Excel & Word)
- Data analysis and report creation
- Possesses strong drive to succeed, reflected by proven track record
- Growth mindset, strong customer focus and relationship management skills at senior levels
- Associate can be based in any of the 6 key countries in SEA region
- Able to undertake at least 50% travel
