Job Description Summary

As a Product Manager, you are the champion of BD's Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) solutions for the Peripheral Intervention Business. You will utilize your market expertise to entrepreneurially create and drive the commercial strategy for our latest PAD offerings supporting the EMEA region to achieve their strategic and financial performance targets. Your responsibilities include the management of your overall product portfolio, including the value proposition, pricing management, market launches, (digital) promotional campaigns, HEOR plans and Sales Enablement. In addition, you will partner closely with the PAD Product Managers and the Platform teams to enable the promotion of our overall PAD solutions, as well as collaborate in a seamless way with our cross functional and commercial partners regionwide.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with Platforms to identify and implement complete PAD solutions that meet customer expectations and strategic goals
  • Support the implementation of the EMEA product portfolio strategies including value proposition, positioning, product promotion, pricing and portfolio lifecycle management
  • In conjunction with the country marketing teams, develop market specific strategies and tactics for our PAD offerings to ensure that BD PAD portfolio is well positioned for success
  • Develop and maintain expert market knowledge in terms of quantitative data (e.g. market data, market trends, competitor offering) and qualitative data (e.g. customer needs, technologies and applications)
  • Develop and implement new product launch campaigns, aligning with market specific strategies and coordinating launch activities with all relevant stakeholders
  • Support the Sales team with product information as the main Subject Matter Expert and contribute to product training initiatives on a regular basis
  • Develop promotional material / marketing collateral and tools which will deliver key messages, positioning and reflect brand essence
  • Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence database for your portfolio.
  • Identify, evaluate and develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) plan and network in conjunction with Clinical & Medical functions
  • Develop and support market research activities (Voice of Customer) and Post Market Surveillance studies
  • Conduct regular customer visits to develop deep understanding of the key market requirements / customer unmet needs
  • Support with the evaluation and prioritizations of Interfacing and Integration requirements in different markets and support the engagement with 3rd parties to plan and enable collaborations
  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet business requirements
  • Responsible to identify and understand customer enhancement request and articulate these to the platform team

About you

  • Strong strategic marketing skills - 5-7 years, including proven success in market development
  • Strong International or European experience in the healthcare environment, Peripheral Interventional marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Technical Discipline or related field required
  • Fluent in English. A further major European language would be an advantage
  • Experience with omnichannel marketing would be preferred
  • Ability to translate market complexities and clinical information into marketing strategies and programs
  • Market development competency with ability to develop and implement clinical and economic value propositions
  • Accountability and willingness to make decisions
  • Ability to influence without authority, and to collaborate within a cross functional team
  • Self-motivated with a desire for self-development
  • Prepared to work away from home for up to 40% of the time
