Job Description Summary

As a Product Manager, you are the champion of BD's Infusion Solutions for the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Business. You will utilize your market expertise to entrepreneurially create and drive the commercial strategy for our latest infusion offerings supporting the EMEA region to achieve their strategic and financial performance targets. Your responsibilities include the management of your overall product portfolio, including the value proposition, pricing management, product lifecycle management, promotional campaigns, HEOR plans and Sales Enablement. In addition, you will partner closely with the downstream and country marketing teams to enable the promotion of our overall Infusion & IV compounding solutions which enable safe and efficient practices from prescription to administration.

Main Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership:

    • Lead product lifecycle management, from launch to expansion and discontinuation.
    • Own positioning, pricing, distribution, and promotional toolbox.
    • Build go-to-market strategy & tactics addressing business goals. Develop and support sound market & competitive analysis, customer insights gathering. Design and maintain a competitive intelligence database for acute infusion.
    • Be the expert for your solution. Showcase product demos and support the sales team with customer conversations and tender preparations. Support with the evaluation and prioritization of interfacing and integration requirements in different markets and support the engagement with 3rd parties to plan and enable collaborations.


  • Business Operations: Leads improvements in operational processes linked to, but not limited to i) product supply and demand management; ii) account segmentation and targeting.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively collaborate with partners. Critical ones are downstream marketing, supply, services, country commercial teams, medical affairs, training and regulatory.
  • Centre of excellence: Support the Sales team with product information as the main Subject Matter Expert (SME) and lead training initiatives.

About you:

  • Strategic thinking & operational excellence: Capacity to translate complex market data, customer insights information into marketing strategies and programs. Ability to map complex processes, identify gaps, design and implement improvements.
  • Learning agility: Ability to learn new concepts, acquire capabilities.
  • Startup Mentality: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities and limited resources. Adaptability, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and self-motivation with a desire for self-development are essential.
  • Propensity to lead & own projects: Ability to manage projects & complex network of stakeholders. Accountable & willing to make decisions.
  • Result driven: Driven to exceed goals, on time and within resources. Can prioritize.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to connect and influence across organization.
  • Strong communication skills: To elicit requirements, manage expectations, present, engage an audience, and provide relevant and structured project updates.
  • Proven track record in Product Management. Regional role experience preferred.
  • Strong International or European experience in the healthcare environment.
  • Experience in business operations preferred.
  • Understanding of workflows in hospitals / medication management practice preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Technical Discipline or related field required.
  • Fluent in English. A further major European language would be an advantage
  • Domestic and international travel for up to 30% of the time.
