Summary of Job Responsibilities
The Plastic Surgery Director (PSD) will report to National Vice President and will be responsible for leading our sales team in their efforts to achieve goals nationally. This individual will also support product development initiatives and assist with national marketing plans as well as training programs. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, demonstrated success with developing and driving effective strategy, excellent communication skills, strong analytic skills to assess results/ ROI and experience working in a fast-paced environment where problem solving, prioritizing and decision making are required on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic business plan for the nation to meet or exceed assigned goals - including short- and long-term strategies.
  • Lead, manage, coach and develop a team of regional sales professionals across the nation to ensure performance objectives are achieved.
  • Manage customer experience through collaboration with Commercial Operations group (ie: customer service, order entry, inventory management, pricing, etc.).
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales Enablement Team and National Accounts.
  • Provide feedback to corporate headquarters regarding issues affecting results
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships within local medical community
  • Analyze data to assess ROI, identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts
  • Identify and develop new distribution channels
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and expenditures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a team.
  • Minimum of 10 years of medical sales experience, experience with Plastic Surgeons preferred.
  • Demonstrated success with developing, implementing and assessing the effectiveness of comprehensive business plan/strategy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the Unites States- approx. 60%
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-starter who can take ownership of projects and see them through to completion
