Job Description Summary

This position is responsible/accountable for the monthly Sales and Inventory Operations Planning(SIOP) review and delivering high quality consensus demand planning, revenue and maximizing profitability. The position will collaborate/work closely with stakeholders; regional supply chain, logistics, finance, business, source plant/DC, Quality and RA to identify goals, focus areas, and rebalance demand & supply and deliver right products to the right customers on time and manage the superior Cx.

Job Description

Lead demand consensus process every month along with Business team to drive to final forecast.

Demand/Supply planning: Monthly review of historical demands, statistical/AI-ML forecast with business team and finalize consensus demand forecast for an upload into the Planning Book (SCM, SAP)

Secure in-time supply against customer orders from the assigned business units of, working closely with various source plants and distribution centers located in US, Europe, SG etc.

Maintain, analyze, and submit reports including monthly S&OP metrics, demand planning/longer term demand planning files.

Manage back orders updating various supply issues from the source plants/distribution centers and develop mitigation plans where applicable

Arrange the most effective mode of shipment while meeting required customer service level.

Track key metrics (Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, DIO, Back Order) of the process and drive for continuous improvement in these areas. Work to ensure that inventory is at optimum levels and will be responsible for working out stocking strategy and seeing that it is followed.

Calculate inventory reserves, excess inventory, and potential write-off and work with finance team to incorporate this data into the budget and projections.

Monitor excess and obsolete inventory and develop strategies and/or plans to eliminate excess.

Streamline the end-to-end supply chain distribution process to maximize the supply chain performance efficiency and cost effectiveness

Drive high quality standard & service level from product quality to customer satisfaction through strict management & control in end-to-end supply chain process
