Position Summary: The Associate Territory Manager position is responsible for assisting in sales of assigned products to customers by working directly with sales representatives and customers. This field position is based in Orlando, FL but supports accounts in San Antonio, Houston, Louisiana, Gulf Shores, Mississippi, and Florida.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support the territory managers in the region to grow and protect their business, namely in focus product lines
- Assist in training and in-servicing of territory managers and customers
- Maintain awareness of competitive activity through both personal contact and literature searches; provide feedback to internal departments regarding these activities
- Assist the regional managers as requested on projects such as product launches, market analysis, etc.
- Assist in the development of salesforce selling skills through regular visits to customer accounts
- Provide technical advice and assistance to clinical staffs and customers
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of all Oncology products, techniques, specifications and applications
- Assist the Regional Sales Managers in developing new business opportunities including expanding our current markets and entering new geographic areas
- Assist in the planning and execution of programs and promotions to increase sales and profitability
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-2 years B2B sales, preferred in medical device industry
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with surgeons and other medical professionals
- Must have demonstrated strong leadership skills and initiative
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities
- Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions demonstrating sound judgment
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards'.
- Ability to travel 75%+ of business days
