Job Description Summary
The Mold Maker is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. The position will provide day by day technical support to all manufacturing areas and R&D. Mold Maker will propose and test the methods for final solution to improve mold condition, tooling development and corrections to actual PM program will be under his responsibilities. Mold Maker will work closely to manufacturing engineering and R&D, operates tool room machinery and maintains documentation.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience and skills to development mold repair and PM procedures.
- Implement corrective action plan and responsible for molds optimization.
- Interact with Sr. Tooling Engineer or Tooling Engineer for mold repair to resolve molding problems.
- Maintain the PM data such history of mold repair.
- Perform minor repairs to molds.
- Responsible for molding Repair inspections.
- Responsible for creating and maintain documentation for mold incoming inspection, PM and CM.
- Maintain control of mold critical geometries and dimensions.

Qualifications :
- Technical Degree.
- Technical background with several years of experience in injection molding, including mold inspections, mold maintenance and tool room machine set ups.
- Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in mold preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Good communication skills.
- Quick learner.
- Dynamic.
- Positive attitude with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Responsible and ability to work under pressure.
- Able to communicate in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
