Job Summary:

As the Marketing Intern, you will be a key role in supporting the BDI Canada team on critical advertising, promotion and data management activities. The individual will be very collaborative and demonstrate the ability to work closely with the marketing team and shared services business partners. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, coupled with an enquiring and proactive approach will be keys to success. The expected term for this internship is at least six (6) months.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development, preparation and distribution of marketing collateral and support the regional marketing content/collateral approval process.
  • Support key marketing activities including organization of customer events.
  • Support other key business projects as required in line with key driver goals for the segment.

Experience and Education:

  • Completion of Bachelor Degree.
  • Bilingual French / English an asset.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, and/or Adobe experience a strong asset.
  • Proficient with MS tools (Outlook PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks to completion, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and timelines.
  • Adept at diving-in and learning new tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work cross functionally across layers of the organization, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
