We are looking for an experienced and strategic Lead for our Market Intelligence, Insights, and Evidence Generation Hub. This role is critical for advancing our understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and predictive analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer optimization and consolidating market intelligence to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will also be a significant contributor to the delivery of cross business objectives: expanding the depth and breadth of our individual BU offering, accelerating growth through collaboration across the various BDX portfolios and driving key growth initiatives through targeted metrics.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the development of our evidence generation strategy and building out the market intelligence team within BD-SML to support execution of the strategy. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Global Marketing Excellence (GME) & Innovation. The individual will work closely with leaders across the organization including the global franchise teams as well as other functions such as R&D, regulatory affairs, medical education, compliance, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and implementation of the market intelligence function within BD-SML
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key business insights
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement market research projects
  • Analyze data and synthesize findings into actionable insights
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to market intelligence and competitive intelligence

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent required; Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in developing and implementing market intelligence programs, preferably experience working in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large amounts of data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
