About the Role:
The IT Business Partner Supply Chain Network Transformation will play a crucial role in aligning technology, processes, and workplace solutions to support the digital transformation program of BD. This position requires a deep understanding of the supply chain business process and enabling systems such as ERP (S4 HANA), WMS (Manhattan), TMS (Centiro) and other digital supply chain solution trends. This will allow you to have true impact on the efficiency and user experience of our EMEA supply chain teams and act as a trusted partner for them, jointly implementing strategic solutions. You're not on your own: you will work closely with BD IT centers of excellence and best of class vendors across the world in an exciting, growing medical technology environment that is helping improve the life of patients around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strategic partner relationships with EMEA supply chain teams, business process transformation team, IT centers of excellence and strategic IT vendors
- Plan and evaluate new joint initiatives, proposals, and determine their fit into roadmaps and priorities.
- Identify opportunities for the adoption of supply chain automation systems (S4 HANA, Manhattan WMS, Centiro TMS, AI...) and ensure their integration with BD's enterprise roadmaps.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication of project and initiative progress, manage escalations, and mitigate risks.
- Lead implementation of projects and enhancements in the supply chain system environment, with strong focus on being able to drive user requirement clarification, scope management, data migration strategy and execution, end to end test planning and execution as well as risk based cutover strategies.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT roles with a focus on supply chain (sales and distribution) ERP and digitalisation / automation processes.
- Strong knowledge of ERP software (S4 HANA) supply chain (SD, IM,...) modules is a must, as well as integration points with other industry standard software such as WMS (Manhattan), TMS (Centiro), customs (Streamliner), EDI and labeling software (Loftware).
- Demonstrated experience in managing IT (ERP) projects, including system implementations and integrations with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, geographically spread around the world.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Knowledge of the latest technology trends and their application in an order to cash setting.
