Job Description Summary

The Intelligence and Data Lead is responsible for driving the data collection and analytics within the Surgery EMEA marketing team. Working closely with the regional and local marketing teams, to support a data driven omnichannel marketing approach. Using internal and external insights and data to manage, update, and refine customer, competitive and market intelligence profiles. Facilitating that intelligence and insights are translated into recommendations that can be used in the decision-making process.

Maintaining and refining the health and accuracy of data on our key tools, CRM being the primary platform. Build visualisation of data into dashboards and modelling for multi year strategic planning. Lead the organisation into a more data-driven approach, including training of collaborators across the organisation.

About the role

The Intelligence and Data Lead is responsible for driving the data collection and analytics within the Surgery EMEA marketing team. Working closely with the regional and local marketing teams, to support a data driven omnichannel marketing approach. Using internal and external insights and data to manage, update, and refine customer, competitive and market intelligence profiles. Facilitating that intelligence and insights are translated into recommendations that can be used in the decision-making process.

Main responsibilities will include:

Operationalisation of Market Intelligence and Data:

  • Lead insights and intelligence capture and dissemination.
  • Support and implement the data strategy and analytics for the team, aligning with the global and regional objectives and priorities, including the creation of standardized market models
  • Collect and analyse data from various sources, such as internal databases, external vendors, market research, web analytics, etc.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on the data analysis, to support the marketing strategy and campaigns.
  • Create and update marketing dashboards, reports, models using data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Work across the commercial and medical team to establish an intelligence database on market trends, competitor profiles, opportunities, challenges, and benchmarking.

CRM optimisation:

  • Optimize the CRM system and ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Drive the adoption of marketing attributes.
  • Dashboarding and reporting of customers insights and opportunity pipeline.
  • Map the customer journey and interactions across the marketing channels and touchpoints.
  • Train and monitor the teams on the compliance and standard processes of salesforce and omnichannel platforms.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing intelligence, data analysis, or CRM management, preferably in the MedTech or healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel or Power BI.
  • Fluent in English. Additional regional languages are a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to synthesize and communicate complex data. Passionate about data and insights and how they can drive business performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Great teammate and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Highly organized and meticulous, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
