We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our BD Technical Service unit, focusing on the UK and Ireland region. Reporting to the Services Sales Team Lead North, you will play a key role in supporting customers to find the best service solutions for their needs. This position offers an opportunity to develop or enhance your sales expertise while contributing to the healthcare sector. You will focus on converting, renewing, and upselling service contracts, primarily through phone-based customer interactions, in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, managing calls and emails efficiently.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure service sales opportunities, working within established processes and tools.
  • Prepare and negotiate customer proposals, ensuring agreements align with their requirements.
  • Manage service contracts by preparing quotations, tender documents, and renewals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to generate time and material quotations for non-contract customers.
  • Collect purchase orders and ensure timely invoicing of service contracts to achieve financial objectives.
  • Build strong, ongoing relationships with customers and enhance their overall experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in tools such as Salesforce, ServiceMax, and other relevant systems.

About you:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Sales experience in any industry is valued; exposure to the healthcare sector is an advantage.
  • Ambitious, determined, and proactive in reaching targets.
  • Confident working independently and in collaboration with a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, with familiarity in Salesforce or ServiceMax being a plus.
  • Meticulous and organised, with a commitment to accuracy and punctuality in all tasks.
