Job Description Summary

The Front-End software developer Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, specifically for but not restricted to embedded software and firmware. Reviews software requirements and business processes; codes, tests, Validation debugs and implements software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to specify, plan, design, develop, test, validation, and support software components as assigned.
• Responsible for translating requirements into design and implementation of well-structured and documented software components.
• Implement new software component designs or enhancements to existing software products; participates in the implementation of more complex subsystems and systems.
• Troubleshoot/debug issues within existing automation systems and implements modifications to resolve these issues.
• Actively participates in meetings e.g. developer meetings.
• Works towards team goals and works effectively in a team environment.
• Develops effort estimation skills.
• Is technically curious and continuously improves coding skills.
• Perform other duties as they are assigned

• BS Degree in Computer Science preferred or a related discipline and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with Agile software development.

• Knowledge of the software development process.
• Must be capable of independent work; self-starter, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective skills on analytical thinking, problem solving, interpersonal relationships, written and oral communication.
• Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Industrial/Regulated Environment highly desirable.
• Fluent in English and Spanish languages (written, read and oral).
