required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our electric pallet trucks and ensuring safe material handling practices within our warehouse environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities:
1. Operate electric pallet trucks safely and efficiently within our warehouse environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
2. Ensure proper loading and unloading procedures, securing loads to prevent damage or injury during transportation.
3. Collaborate effectively with other warehouse personnel to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods.
4. Maintain accurate records related to inventory management, equipment utilization, and safety compliance.
5. Conduct regular inspections of assigned vehicles, reporting any defects or issues promptly to supervisors for repair or replacement as needed.
6. Adhere to established safety protocols, including pre-operational checks, daily vehicle inspections, and compliance with ergonomic requirements.
7. Participate in training programs aimed at enhancing driving skills and promoting continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
8. Maintain a clean and organized working area, contributing to overall organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
9. Actively engage in cross-functional teams focused on optimizing logistics processes and implementing best practices.
10. Stay informed about industry developments, new technologies, and emerging trends in supply chain management, sharing knowledge and ideas with colleagues to drive innovation and excellence in our operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in operating electric pallet trucks (preferably 2.5 tonne).
- Strong understanding of safe material handling practices and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Adaptable and flexible attitude towards changing work environments and priorities.
- Proficiency in English language (written and spoken) is essential.
- Willingness to undergo training and upskilling opportunities to enhance driving abilities and broaden skills.
- Ability to obtain a forklift license.
