Main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical support on-site, including installations, relocations, certifications, and repairs of BD Biosciences instruments and systems.
  • Perform remote fixing and problem solving, bringing up cases to in-person support as needed.
  • Complete preventive maintenance, upgrades, and corrective actions within required timeframes.
  • Maintain detailed service records, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with operational guidelines.
  • Manage personal car stock, ensuring readiness for service tasks by maintaining required tools and spare parts.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and communicate potential business growth areas.
  • Adhere to quality, safety, and compliance regulations, consistently delivering excellent service.
  • Assist customers with service contract details, promoting their benefits and ensuring effective execution.

About you:

  • Hold an engineering degree or have extensive experience as a Field Service Engineer.
  • Experience in medical device industry is a desired.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Experienced in performing corrective and preventive tasks on technical equipment.
  • Confident in adapting to new technologies and handling diverse product ranges.
  • Highly skilled in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining professionalism.
  • Proficient in IT systems and tools relevant to the role.
  • Proficient in Norwegian and English.
  • Hold a valid driving license.
