Main Responsibilities

• Operates the line by setting up the machine, loading materials, and ensuring smooth operation throughout the process.
• Performs set-up operations on the machinery including changing tooling, adjusting for quality, making offsets, and cleaning parts as needed.
• Ensures continuous operation of equipment by performing preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating moving parts, replacing worn or defective components, and keeping records of maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoots problems with the equipment as they arise and makes repairs when necessary.
• Monitors product quality and adjusts parameters to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and good manufacturing practices.
• Collaborates with other team members to resolve issues and improve production efficiency.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Assists in training new employees and providing guidance on proper operating procedures.
• Maintains accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/operations, preferably in Medical Devices
• Previous experience with Automated Packaging Equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, bend, reach, push, pull and stand for long periods of time.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient computer skills.
