Job Summary:

Developer must have strong understanding of low-code platforms, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality App and solutions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using the Tulip low-code platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the applications developed.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in low-code development.
  • Available to handle support and/or coordinate support through IT and /or OT, including emergencies.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance and consistency in application development.
  • Document all development processes, changes, and updates thoroughly.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operational Technologies, Quality and Operations, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust documentation practices to support traceability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory teams to address any compliance issues promptly.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of applications.
  • Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of applications.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development team.
  • Ensure data integrity and security in all applications developed.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions and activities.
  • This person should understand the application lifecycle process, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. They should be capable of managing the entire lifecycle to ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of applications.
  • During deployment, provide on-going support for business process + integration inquiries to supplement technical support.
  • Ready and able to Attend + actively engage in (e.g., participate, present) Project Team and other workstream meetings + workshops related to Digital.
  • Participate during internal and external audits.
  • Develop code considering FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in app development, preferably in a low-code environment.
  • Experience with Tulip or other low-code platforms is highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency in using the Tulip platform or similar low-code development tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of app development best practices and methodologies.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues promptly.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Understanding and execution of GxP validation procedures.
  • Understanding of applicable regulations and assurance that applications are built according to these regulations.
  • Database Skills
