Main responsibilities will include:
- Investigate Customer Complaints in accordance with standardised practices and in an effort to identify potential root causes of reported defects.
- Test returned and/or retained products and review manufacturing records (DHR) where possible to enable confirmation or otherwise of reported defect.
- Ensure all relevant systems and supporting records are maintained as evidence of a thorough investigation to the required level, and that investigation reports are recorded on the Trackwise system in a timely manner.
- Support Validation / Trial runs and MWOs in manufacturing to provide product testing support where required.
- Provide support for internal audits, third party regulatory audits and customer complaints as required.
- Provide a source of advice / knowledge on shift to manufacturing / technical associates on all matters relating to Customer Complaints.
- Support the Quality Engineering team on reasonable requests as they may arise.
- Support operational CI initiatives as required including documentation improvements.
About you:
- Achieved and completed high school education, specifically GCSE Maths and English.
- Experience within a quality function in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Able to analyse numerical data and complete detailed reports of investigation.
- Experience in a quality / manufacturing role within a high volume medical device-manufacturing controlled environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Minitab.
- Excellent IT skills, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Basic knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
