The position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing complex responsibilities across a matrix organisation, collaborating with the EMEA Interventional team, and leading a country-based sales and support team.

BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage full P&L accountability for the Interventional business in the country.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for growth, with a focus on new products and market expansion.
  • Lead the execution of strategic sales and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with EMEA business objectives.
  • Oversee talent management, including succession planning and development of the Interventional team.
  • Collaborate with country and EMEA leadership to shape and implement localised business strategies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to drive business success.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of distribution strategies and accurate product forecasting.
  • Lead market research initiatives to adapt strategies based on evolving customer needs and industry trends.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, and operations to ensure cohesive strategy execution.

About you:

  • Experienced business leader with a proven background in sales and marketing, ideally within MedTech.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to adapt and execute business strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a focus on talent development and team success.
  • Learning agility and a forward-thinking mentality to navigate change and industry developments.
  • Proficiency in English and preferably in Swedish, with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of fostering a culture of inclusion, diversity, and high performance.
