Job Description Summary

The Business Analyst, in addition to the operational support currently provided to the Unit, will be responsible for the management and analysis of data and information relating to the performance of the business and competitors, for carrying out business intelligence analyses, for making forecasts relating to the medium trend long term of our product portfolio and to identify and monitor KPI's (key performance indicators) relating to the efficiency of our commercial network in strategic support of the business and management decision making activities. This role, while reporting to the Business unit manager, provides equally distributed support to the marketing and sales team.

About the role:

Specifically, he is responsible, in synergy with the Marketing Manager and Product Managers, for:

- collect, process and analyze data regarding the performance of the Business at an overall level, by product lines, by product mix, by channel (dealer or direct) making use of both internal data (EIS, AS400) and external sources (Min Sal, CERGAS, ISTAT); specifically, this reporting will highlight the trend in turnover, profit, average prices, market share, comparison with budget objectives, etc.;

In addition to managing ordinary reporting, it will have to create new reports based on business needs or propose new ones with a consultancy approach

Carry out Business intelligence analysis, to support forecasting and strategic marketing planning activities, with the aim of evaluating:

o the potential of the reference market (hospital market mapping in terms of consumption analysis, products included, prices and tender timing)

o any new markets of interest to the business (home care, private clinics,...) coordinating with the inter functional working groups dedicated to evaluating new markets,

o competitor activity (competitor activity and structure, product flow, etc.)

To this end, it will be able to make use of external sources (Min Sal, CERGAS, ISTAT) and internal sources, defining a structured process for collecting information from the field (and the related collection templates)

Support the Product manager in carrying out market research (definition of the investigation objective, brief to the market research company, analysis of the results).

Interface with local regulators and headquarters/production sites to find the documentation relating to the registration of a new device or updating/maintenance of the documentation relating to products already on the market at the Ministry of Health

Specifically, he is responsible, in synergy with the Sales Manager, for:

Update the prices on the Unit's price lists, based on the indications received from the Sales Manager and the Marketing Manager;

Sales Funnel template aggregation for HQ relating to the sales projects activated in the individual areas (useful for the forecast)

Creation of a database with all Dealer purchasing plans relating to our products (useful for forecasts)

Provide the Sales manager with analyzes relating to the efficiency of the commercial network through the monitoring of KPI's (as well as the identification of any new indicators)

Prepare and send reports to the Sales manager relating to turnover deviations towards the dealer sales planning or deviations towards the budget.

May perform other duties as required.
