Summary:
BD Excellence Development Engineer is responsible for designing new products or improving existing ones to meet customer needs. They also develop prototypes, test them, and refine their designs until they are ready for production. The role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and creativity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new medical devices
  • Conduct research on materials and technologies related to medical device development
  • Create prototypes of new products
  • Test and evaluate prototype designs
  • Refine designs based on feedback from customers and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, finance, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply chain management
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Provide technical support during product launches
  • Troubleshoot issues in the field

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, electrical, biomedical, or industrial engineering
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Experience working with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Creativity and innovation

Education and/or Experience:

  • Currently in last year of Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
