Job Description Summary
For the segment BD Medical business unit Medication Delivery Solutions, B2B for the Region of Italy and Greece we search a candidate for the position of a B2B Business Development Executive / Customer experience. This position will support the sales and business development activities within the strategic key segments that include Italian Kit Manufacturers, Veterinary, and MedTech. This will represent approximately 80% of the time allocation and is field based as we expect a mix of face-to-face customer visits and online meetings.
Secondly this position has 20% of time attached to improving, delivering, and measuring the Customer experience indictors of the business. Ensuring that we have a smooth experience for the B2B customers from end to end. Also supporting the pharmaceutical base of customers in EMEA.

Responsibilities- Business Development Specialist
- Identify research and qualify new business opportunities; create and maintain a business plan to achieve the overall strategy and achieve the segment targets in Italy.
- Manage and grow specifically identified and segmented B2B customer based in Italy through proactive prospecting through a mixture of telesales, digital networking, events and face-to-face activity
- Manage B2B Accounts and support with Strategic Accounts in collaboration with B2B Business Development Manager including customer phone and mail interactions, customer facings and marketing activities.
- Maintain accurate records within the Salesforce CRM of all interactions, communication and potential opportunities
- Participate and contribute as a member of the European B2B team meetings (International travel will be required)
End to End customer management
- Be the first point of contact to handle existing customer queries including documentation, contracts, prices, Field Safety Notices, handling directly or redirecting to sales manager, coordinating the input of corresponding support functions
- Proactively handle orders of top customers, keeping them informed
- Proactively handle customer complaints and issues, coordinating support functions (Customer Care Organization/ Quality Affairs/ Regulatory Affairs/ Supply)
- Support demand planning forecast
- Support backorder management
- Manage simple commercial contracts, price lists, maintain pricing agreements
- Keep track of supply agreement validity
- Screen and trigger creation of new customers, provide input to relevant functions
- Maintain customer database, monitor consistency of customer name, categorization and classification across B2B reporting database, SFDC, S4 HANA, LOTS
- Monitor quality of key customer information in SFDC and ensure it is updated
- Support cash collection and support resolution of disputes, escalating significant issues
- Monitor customer experience
- Propose and implement customer experience improvement processes
About you:
- Commercial apprenticeship /Bachelor/ BA or equivalent experience in sales support or customer service functions.
- Excellent Italian and fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Competent Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and networking skills
