Position Summary:
The Associate Market Development Specialist will utilize their business expertise to support sales Lead Generation and field sales Market Development in the Home Health Non-Acute space for BDPI Oncology portfolio of products. This individual will execute lead generation against their business plan by working closely with the field team including AVPs, RM TMs, and Procedural Specialists while maintaining consistent communication with the BDPI Digital Marketing Team. This individual will execute Non-Acute market expansion for BDPI Oncology portfolio of products across targeted Home Health & Hospice accounts.
Essential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):
- Maintains a working knowledge of assigned BDPI products and market conditions with a keen focus on the competitive landscape.
- Assesses Marketing Qualified Leads to become Sales Accepted Leads by working with the local TM or contacting potential customers through outbound calls and emails, understanding the customer needs, presenting product features and benefits when necessary, and working closely with the sales teams to capture and track opportunity dollars within Salesforce.com.
- Provide clinical support and customer service to all Non-Acute target customers and grow PI Oncology sales in assigned accounts.
- Partner with Distribution reps to leverage co-selling opportunities in targeted accounts.
- Launch new PI Oncology products into Non-Acute target accounts and conduct in-servicing and clinical education in support of converted targets.
- Demonstrates understanding of BDPI policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a satisfactory record of compliance.
- Maintains open, effective communication with all personnel, customers, and other BDPI employees.
- Demonstrates an ability to establish relationships with focused accounts, including physicians, nurses, technologists, and administrative personnel.
- Work across cross functional teams including but not limited to Marketing, Sales, and National Accounts.
The Associate Market Development Specialist will provide sales, clinical, and medical expertise while supporting strategic targeted accounts /customers as directed by their manager.
Achieve quarterly and annual measurables for both Lead Generation and Market Development sales goals. Responsible for the successful promotion of all related BDPI products to key targeted accounts. Works closely with the Directors of National Accounts, Area Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, and Territory Managers to identify and execute upon key sales initiatives. Assists Territory Managers with timely handoff of sales leads and focuses on market expansion in the Home Health Non-Acute space.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Preferred 1+ years of sales experience Knowledge of the Home Health Non-Acute market is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and project management skills with an ability to maintain numerous priorities and meet established deadlines.
- Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities, and manages priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft TEAMS, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience within Salesforce.com preferred Strong interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting to an audience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized individual who can work independently but also thrives in a team environment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.
- Position is Field based, with preferred candidates residing in Central to West U.S.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use sight, and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls, and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to verbally communicate with other associates. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
