As a Physician Senior Recruiter, you will act as a liaison between the facility/department leadership team, candidates and the operational teams to facilitate the recruitment of new providers joining the organization. You will use your ability to manage full cycle recruiting of highly qualified talent within tight time frames. You will also provide leaders with appropriate guidance on handling issues and providing recommendations.

This is primarily a remote position, but the selected candidate should be based in either Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ as there will be some onsite meetings to attend.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position recruits executives and leaders or physicians to meet the organization's recruitment and strategic initiative goals working closely with the candidates and hiring authority. Actively involved in the leader/physician recruitment process from the time a position is opened through the successful retention of leader/physician. Positively represents the organization in all interactions with diplomacy, tact and a professional demeanor.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Manages all aspects of the leader/physician recruitment process from early contact with prospective leaders/physicians through on-boarding. Follows organization's recruitment policies and procedures and performs all recruiting activities within the context of legal, economic and political considerations.

2. Conducts telephone interviews using excellent listening and questioning skills during the process to build applicant interest and determine candidate fit with position and behavioral expectations. Writes up a brief summary of candidate information not documented in their C.V. and presents to hiring authority for consideration. Utilizes establish forms to forward candidate through the recruitment process.

3. Works closely with the hiring authority to evaluate candidates and ultimately make recommendations for hire based on a keen working knowledge of the opportunity and the organizational fit of the candidate. Negotiates terms of employment in leader/executive employment offers.

4. Collaborates with talent acquisition leadership, facility/entity leadership teams, and hiring authorities to determine candidate needs and vacancies. Outlines details related to the recruitment opportunities in preparation for a proactive recruitment strategy. Attends recruitment meetings with hiring authorities to provide updates on current recruitment activity and to strategize on hard-to-recruit-for positions and upcoming recruitments.

5. Maintains in depth working knowledge and understanding of executives/leaders and/or physicians, as well as national trends affecting them and healthcare organizations. Identifies opportunities for marketing development based on the quality of candidates. Recognizes locations and specialties that are difficult to recruit. Coordinates with recruitment staff to develop and implement changes that align with recruitment strategy to ensure a qualified candidate pool.

6. Engages parties from operations to plan, implement, and continually evaluate recruitment policies, procedures, and processes. Constantly seeks opportunities to improve and streamline processes and procedures.

7. Maintains accurate and up-to-date tracking of all opportunities and candidates' status through centralized database program and tracking tools.

8. Possesses an executive presence by exhibiting energy, excitement, enthusiasm and courage. Builds and maintains credibility and trust through visibility, including effectively communicating with and influencing a variety of audiences.

9. Position supports the organization's leader and/or physician recruitment needs. Internal customers include senior management, legal, human resources staff, and physician practice staff. External customers include practicing physicians and group office managers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a strong knowledge of business and/or healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, public relations, marketing or related field.

Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of executive and/or physician recruitment as normally demonstrated through at least five years of executive, leader and/or physician recruitment experience. This also includes proven experience in a recruitment, healthcare, public relations, business or marketing environment. Requires superb negotiation and relationship building skills. Demonstrates advanced ability to obtain and retain employees in competitive recruiting environment. Able to conceptualize, envision and plan for the future based on experience and knowledge of the executive/physician market. Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to speak professionally to small or large groups and senior leadership.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
