Job Description:

The Equity Research Portfolio Strategy team is seeking a Lead Portfolio Manager to run coverage on the Small Cap portfolio and backup coverage on the Mid Cap portfolio. Our team manages long-only concentrated portfolios across different strategies. You will be primarily responsible for providing strategic investment guidance related to constructing and managing equity portfolios.

This position will report directly into our Head of Global Wealth Management Portfolio and Investment Strategy.

  • Lead portfolio manager on a small cap portfolio
  • Serve as back up Portfolio Manager on additional portfolios, likely our mid cap portfolio
  • Sourcing new investment ideas
  • Working closely with the team's risk manager to ensure the portfolio operates within our framework
  • Regularly interact with our global fundamental analysts, strategists and economists
  • Attend conferences and company meetings

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a lead portfolio manager
  • 5+ years within the financial services industry
  • Small and mid-cap experience preferable
  • Have a track record of proactively sourcing ideas
  • Track record should reflect generating excess returns from stock selection
  • Must be willing to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal colleagues and external clients

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$200,000.00 - $300,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
