Job Description

The role is of a Group Head, managing a team linked to processing of FX (Corporate and Interbank), Derivative and Collateral within GMO. Apart from overseeing daily processing, faclitate support to various projects linked to Derivatives/CollateralsFX products mandated by regulations. Knowledge of other Market products would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Ensuring smooth trade processing of FX, Derivatives and Collaterals without any lapses.
Escalate exceptions in a timely manner.
Manitain relationship with Clients/Counterparts and ensure prompt resolution to queries
Ensure compliance to relevant regulations.
Coach, mentor, provide feedback and hands-on career development of team members
Develop rapport with Front office, external/internal audits, Technology and other stakeholders
Participate in various process improvement initiatives/ projects as required
Ability to drive process improvement
*Responsible for updating internal procedures

Required Skills

• Previous experience of supervising teams handling FX, Derivatives and Collateral Operations
• Client focused. Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage the team
• Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
• Knowledge of Regulations and Ability to Identify and Mitigate Operational Risk
• Strong understanding of the accounting principles
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
