Job Overview:
Responsible for leading and manging execution processes, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of pitches and transactions. To support Directors and Managing Directors in developing tactical plans within the broader GCIB strategic mandate, specific to the targeted client group
Responsibilities:
- Begin building relationships to generate deals & bring in business
- Manage and lead the execution of M&A processes and actively participating in capital markets transactions
- Act as primary point of contact between: clients, lawyers, financial regulators & legal teams involved in all deals
- Manage and develop direct junior (Analyst and Associate) resources and activities across the global franchise in order to deliver the Bank's products and services to the client
- Responsible for the attraction and development of junior talent and following such performance management procedures as the company's policies dictate, under the guidance of a Director or Managing Director
- To ensure the Bank's activities are conducted in a compliant and risk free manner
- Required Skills:
What we are looking for:
- Relevant full-time experience in Investment Banking with a leading bank or M&A boutique
- Fluency in German and English; additional language skills are a plus
- In depth experience of delivering investment banking products and advisory services to clients
- Track record of executing M&A and capital markets transactions
- Excellent analytical skills are required
- Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrable ability to understand financing needs and match client needs with the most appropriate product / service
- Evidence of having led and developed teams
