Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing that is built in from the outset.
  • Utilize a strong knowledge of development and testing practices following appropriate Agile methodologies and architectural patterns common to the industry.
  • Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Execute story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Automate manual release activities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
  • Design, code, testing, debug, and document programs using Agile methodologies including Anypoint studio, Eclipse, SQL server management studio, Jira, BitBucket, and Jenkins.
  • Use MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust API solutions to handle APIs.
  • Leverage API testing tools to test RESTful web services built including Postman, SOAP UI, Parasoft, Insomnia, and Swagger UI.
  • Utilize Microsoft SQL Server database, Java, JDBC, Java Script, TypeScript, Angular, Spring, and Web services (REST and SOAP) to build applications to meet complex requirements and achieve business goals.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related: and
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs using Agile methodologies including Anypoint studio, Eclipse, SQL server management studio, Jira, BitBucket, and Jenkins;
  • Using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust API solutions to handle APIs;
  • Leveraging API testing tools to test RESTful web services built including Postman, SOAP UI, Parasoft, Insomnia, and Swagger UI; and,
