RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development initiatives that require Pega technical expertise including Pega Workflow, Case Management, and Integration.
  • Participate in the creation of project road maps.
  • Perform database modeling and SQL query optimization.
  • Provide estimates/sizing for high level requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to coordinate delivery of software application.
  • Communicate with technical partners to develop technological solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and build complex workflow applications on the PEGA 8.x Platform to streamline and automate business processes.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed or corrected before implementation.
  • Design and deliver technology solutions involving integration between multiple systems in order to solve complex business problems and adhere to security and compliance standards and controls.
  • Create and deliver project road maps using Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools to define scope and delivery timelines.
  • Support Pega Platform upgrades to include at least one major version in order to comply with vendor support requirements and prevent software vulnerabilities.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related; and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Analyzing business requirements and building complex workflow applications on the PEGA 8.x Platform to streamline and automate business processes;
  • Performing code reviews to ensure best practices are followed or corrected before implementation;
  • Designing and delivering technology solutions involving integration between multiple systems in order to solve complex business problems and adhere to security and compliance standards and controls;
  • Creating and delivering project road maps using Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools to define scope and delivery timelines; and
  • Supporting Pega Platform upgrades to include at least one major version in order to comply with vendor support requirements and prevent software vulnerabilities.
