Process Overview

The Data Transaction Services (DTS) - Service Desk is a global team of technologist located in AMERS, EMEA and APAC regions who provide 24 x 7 frontline support for various applications under the DTS suite of applications.

DTS services over 40,000 worldwide, institutional clients, private and public entities and every internal line of business. Delivering key B2B services for commercial payments, inter-banking exchanges, clearing, prime brokerage front office, account and settlement services, risk and regulatory and many others.

Job Description

DTS services over 40,000 worldwide, institutional clients, private and public entities and every internal line of business. Delivering key B2B services for commercial payments, inter-banking exchanges, clearing, prime brokerage front office, account and settlement services, risk and regulatory and many others.

DTS Service Desk team supports the below tasks:

1. File Transmission issues on TP (Trading Partner) and BU (Business Unit) end.

2. System Alerts

3. Configuration issues

4. Critical system issues

5. Password Reset

6. File Replay

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and Production support for critical Data Transaction platforms.
  • The application is running on LINUX servers, responsible for platform availability (24X7)
  • Data Transmissions are happening through GIS platform (A sterling commerce product). Need to monitor the GIS application and to ensure the availability of the application.
  • Analyze and resolve transmission and protocol (FTP, FTPS, SFTP, AS2, VPN) issues.
  • Trouble shoots tickets (Incidents) on transmission issues and need to monitor alerts related to transmission issues.
  • Need to restart applications whenever necessary.
  • Need to be available on calls and follow call ethics
  • Responsible to take care of tickets assigned and create record of each issue touched in a ticket
  • Need to trouble shoot basic mainframe issues (some of the bank's transmissions are to mainframe servers)
  • Act swiftly to resolve the transmission related production issues.
  • Escalations to next level.

Requirements

  • Education: Any Graduate
  • Certifications If Any: ITIL certificate is added advantage
  • Experience Range: 4 to 6 Years
  • Foundational skills:
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of file transfer protocols and tools such as FTPS, SFTP, AS2, NDM, Connect: Direct, VPN
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of Splunk
  • Previous helpdesk, technical call center or command center experience
  • Linux Knowledge
  • Desired skills:
  • Network and Midrange experience is a plus
  • Experience with Gentran Integrated Suite/Mainframe will be given priority

Work Timings: 6:30 AM IST - 3:30 PM IST and 1:30 PM IST - 10:30 PM IST
