Process Overview

Global Wholesale Banking Operations comprises operations for Commercial and Corporate banking clients. These operations support the business across US, Asia Pacific, & EMEA regions. GWBO functions include implementation and servicing of credit, depository and treasury products; processing of payments and processing of trade finance transactions.

Job Description


The APAC Account Opening team deals with Opening/Closing of DDA /Savings Accounts for corporate clients. The entry channel for receiving work is through email. The New Accounts team works with IA to meet the client expectation to on-board a accounts. Performs detailed document review to comply with the AML/Country requirement. Knowledge of GBS application (CIS & DAS), Sanction tools and clear understanding of the APAC CDD requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding of onboarding/mandate update process
  • Detailed review on the Banking Resolution, Trade Registry, POA & Add Delete Letter with good written skills
  • Responsible to carry out appropriate due diligence for each request for Account Opening/CDD and Maintenance activities.
  • Responsible to ensure that the tasks are completed within the given SLAs.
  • Need to meet all the applicable KPI's for the business
  • Effective Analytical skills are required to ensure that correct action is taken on each transaction
  • Interact with LOB partners for a quick resolution of issues.
  • Be a key contributor to business initiatives that require subject matter expertise.
