Process Overview
Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.
Job Description
Within GMOT, Derivatives & FX Technology is responsible for handling confirmations, clearing, settlement, regulatory reporting and messaging for all Derivatives and FX asset classes.
Cash Manager is the Strategic application for FX Cash & Derivative Settlements, this is an ultra-Critical application used by settlement teams in Operations teams across various product lines globally. The technology team closely works with Product Owners and Global development team in development and maintenance of this Application.
As a Team Member, the associate will be working at the Hyderabad in an Agile Team that is responsible Cash Manager.
Responsibilities
The job primarily involves
Coding in Java and TSQL (Sybase)
Work in agile team to determine needs and apply/customize existing technology to meet those requirements.
Interacting with Business Users,
Mentor team members
Understanding different derivatives trading scenarios across asset classes.
Providing L3 support for the applications
- Requirements
Education - BE/B Tech preferably Computer Science and Engineering or MCA
Certifications If Any
Experience Range - 8 - 10 years of industry experience
- Foundation skills -
Minimum of 10 years' experience working on object-oriented programming environment, Java or Java\J2EE
Spring\SpringBoot Microservices
Sybase development
Excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills
Quick to learn, self-motivated and enthusiastic
Able to work well in a highly motivated environment
Desired skills
Knowledge on OTC and Exchange Traded Derivatives.
Knowledge of Settlements, trade Life Cycle
Knowledge of SWIFT-ISO2022
Knowledge on Agile.
