Process Overview

Wealth Management Technology team is responsible for all Retail, Preferred and GWIM products catering to Consumer, Small Business and Preferred customers and GWIM clients. The products includes Credit Cards for Retail as well as Small Business customers, Deposits, Consumer Lending and Client Underwriting (including Vehicle Loans and Home Loans), Investment Products for GWIM and US Trust clients and Retirement products for Institutions. This team performs application development, testing (functional and automation), design/architecture and business analysis functions to deliver the technology solutions through robust and scalable application platforms developed on various technologies such as .Net, Java/J2EE, Angular JS, Mainframe, SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle

Individual will be working as a Oracle DB developer using Oracle PL-SQL for Financial Planning applications in Wealth Management domain. He /She will be involved in development and maintenance activities as per Bank of America standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:

Individual will be working as Oracle Developer for Financial Planning applications in Wealth Management domain. He /She will be involved in development and maintenance activities as per Bank of America standards and guidelines.

  • 6 + year experience as Oracle developer, PL/SQL
  • Working knowledge of Oracle 11g/Oracle 12c added capabilities and functionality.
  • Strong programming/development skills using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers) and batch coding skills such as Bulk collections, dynamic SQL, and parallel processing.
  • Experience working with source control.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle 11.x/12c/Unix/python
  • Should be good in advance PLSQL /tuning/UTL feature/ Developer Tools (toad)
  • Proficient in performance tuning (PL/SQL) using SQL Trace, Explain Plan, Indexing and Hints.
  • Designing and executing test plans and performing gap analysis to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
