Process Overview

Enterprise Payments Technology - Global Business Services team is involved in Architecture, Development & Testing. EPT provide critical services to our customers and clients such as Zelle, Digital Wallets, Debit Card Purchase, Bill Payments, Merchant Acquiring, International and Domestic Remittances, Mortgage Payments, and Scheduled Transfers. The team is playing a crucial role in transformational initiatives and maintaining merchant services and digital payments changes. We are adopting API first approach for developing the solutions. Platform Stability as part of Never Down is also a focus area due to the need for high availability of the payment's platform for our customers. The India team is spread across 4 locations in India - Chennai, Gurugram, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

Job Description


The person will be responsible to lead & manage one or more engineering teams which are involved in Design, Development & Prototype of Payments, and Merchant services applications. He / She needs to be a competent tech leader with hands on experience on Java/JEE, Spring related frameworks, API led development and need to have good Leadership, communication skills and very good payment domain knowledge. The individual will be accountable & responsible for managing the technical delivery, and end to end execution across multiple technology teams for large programs working closely with the U.S. leadership team for the planned releases of new functionality. The individual needs to handle strategic partner delivery teams to have one integrated delivery for the program.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in full development life cycle including concept, architecture & design, build, deploy, test and release to production.
  • Keep up to date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms, payment industry.
  • Define, design, and implement Payments and Merchant applications. Should have a very good understanding on agile delivery.
  • Have good communication skills to closely work with different stakeholders.
  • Improve application performance, ensure platform stability, and drive team excellence.
  • Collaborate with various Architect / DEV / Performance Test / Release Management / Operations teams along with upstream/downstream stakeholders.
  • Ensure full technical compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Handle Offshore- Onshore coordination well

Requirements


Education

  • BE / B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Tech
  • Certifications If Any: NA

Experience Range


  • 18- 24 years

Foundational Skills

  • Experience in Java/JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate development.
  • Has managed team earlier of 40+ members and exhibits leadership quality.
  • Should be able to manage project funding and schedule.
  • Should be self-driven and able to put team together.
  • Solid software engineering experience including object-oriented programming and design patterns, source control, unit testing, in-cycle automation, and CI/CD
  • Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
  • Good understanding of multiple industry standard of payment messages and files, like ISO20022, ISO8583, SWIFT MT/MX, NACHA/ACH, BACS, NPCI UPI API etc.
  • Hands on senior technology leader in the team, can evaluate and adopt to the relevant and similar technologies impacting payment domain and suggest solution.
  • Effectively work with business teams, program management, on-site/off-site development staff to accomplish project deliverables.
  • Self-starter, good aptitude, Problem Solver, and someone who is open to learning new technologies and comes with strong analytical capabilities.

Desired Skills


  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Experience working in US Banking domain with card processing is plus.
