Process Overview


DEVEX-SPT Production Support group is the support partner for the DEVEX-SPT horizontal which provides SDLC automation services to the whole of Bank of America's technology verticals. This group supports multiple SDLC platforms and custom applications working across different locations in India, US.

Job Description

Individual will be responsible for SPT applications maintenance and support. Candidate would be working closely with the Development, Engineering and other teams who are the end users of these applications to provide reactive support on issues raised, fix issues and provide status on periodic basis. Candidate will be involved in development of new requirement to these applications. The candidate will be responsible for debugging applications and provide hands-on solution to the issues.

Responsibilities


  • Manage, track, prioritize and resolve production support issues on a timely basis.
  • Review functional and technical design specifications to ensure full understanding of requirements and functionality.
  • Work with tech leads and developers to identify and troubleshoot all defects and potential quality issues.
  • Hold and facilitate periodical reviews of issue fixes with cross-functional team members.
  • Identify support trends and develop enhancements to increase application stability
  • Develop expertise in the product areas assigned on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of work experience in application development/support.
  • Experience with developing software with ASP.net, C#, WCF and Visual Studio environment
  • Strong database experience, preferably using Microsoft SQL Server environment.
  • Ability to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.
  • Knowledge of all phases of SDLC with emphasis on architecture, design, quality and implementation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as time management skills.
  • Have the right attitude to be open, flexible and responsive in a very dynamic environment.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools like Splunk, Dynatrace

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Ansible deployment is desired, but not mandatory
