Process Overview
Corporate Treasury (CT) Global Liquidity Management (GLM) is responsible for analyzing the Enterprise's overall and relevant Legal Entity's individual liquidity positions, for assessing those positions and for proposing changes to them within the Enterprise's overall risk appetite. GLM is also responsible for daily and other periodic liquidity reporting to the Regulators (like US/EMEA/APAC) as well as to internal executive management for monitoring and measurement of liquidity risk by reporting Liquidity Coverage Ratio(LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metric (ALMM), FR2052a and Internal Liquidity Stress Testing (ILST) and forecasting liquidity needs on daily, weekly and monthly basis. .
Job Description
The Corporate Treasury Finance team is part of the CFO organization. The primary focus of the team is providing various financial and accounting services in support of the Corporate Treasury group pertaining to liquidity reporting and management. The role would involve hands on partnership with the team and stakeholders, driving opex, enhancing controls, upskilling functional and systems knowledge for self and team.
The candidate will be required to have an strong understanding of:
1. financial products (both banking book products like deposits, loans, commitments, etc. and markets products like secured funding, derivatives, prime brokerage, etc.); and,
2. global liquidity regulatory reports such as LCR, NSFR, FRB's 2052a report, ILST, PRA's 110, EU's ALMM, etc.
The role will require strong analytical skills and domain expertise to deal with Data quality issues, queries and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
• Understanding the Regulatory reporting guidelines as per regulator (i.e., EMEA, APAC or US)
• Ability to review data feeds, troubleshoot for data issues relating to daily, monthly, wk, qtr. sourcing
• QA, Preparation of liquidity and management reports as a part of daily/weekly/Monthly/Quarterly basis
• Trend analysis, variance analysis, commentary in regards to regulatory and management reports
• Able to identify, understand and interpret regulatory and system changes and partner with relevant stakeholders for seamless adoption of funded as well as BAU initiatives
• Strengthen partnership with Global liquidity Management Report owners, SMEs and other stakeholders for enhancing controls, back ups and continuous process improvement
• Effective team management, work allocation, Prioritize different reporting deliverables amidst tight delivery schedule across frequency
• Ability to respond appropriately to time-sensitive requests
• Coordinate initial escalation and reporting management to address disputed observations/findings including agreeing additional testing
• Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders including Technology, Internal and external auditors, tech partners and compliance partners
• Effectively manage the end to end delivery of major Treasury initiatives (tech and non tech)
• Liaise with various business partners such as Technology, Data Mgt, Risk Operations, Multiple lines of defense and Finance to resolve issues / queries.
• Development & continuous improvement of existing processes & workflow.
• Testing / UAT for systems work ranging from minor system releases to major system implementations.
• Remediation of issues in an autonomous yet timely manner considering the principles of control and the need to mitigate operational risk.
• Effective team management including effective career development to drive an operationally resilient and engaged team coupled with operationally excellent process with holistic knowledge development
Requirements
Education
CA/ MBA Tier I Business Schools
Techno functional orientation and experience preferred
Certifications If Any - NA
Experience Range
Min. 15 years of Finance or Regulatory reporting experience. Of which at-least 10 years of Treasury/ Liquidity reporting & management/Capital reporting & management/Legal entity controllership/IRRBB/ Product control/Regulatory reporting viz COREP End to end/traded products/market risk experience. Prior Team Management experience is a must.
Foundational skills
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting framework as per BASEL III/IV Accords.
• Strong understanding of financial market products (both banking, Traded and markets products)
• Specific understanding of Regulatory Liquidity reporting (ALMM, LCR, NSFR, ILST, 2052a, PRA 110m etc.) for EMEA/US Regulatory body
• Advanced MS Excel
• Analytical mindset to deal with daily liquidity Queries and troubleshooting for Data Quality issues
• Experience in building and executing test plans
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to deal with multiple concurrent issues and tasks - ability to self-manage and prioritize - Candidate must have a proven track record of communicating effectively with personnel from various areas within an organization and at different management levels
- Must be proactive and be a highly-motivated self-starter.
Desired skills
• Working knowledge of Tableau/ Alteryx/ VBA
• Knowledge of LIBRA, ATLAS an added advantage
