Job Description:

The Senior BFC Product Associate will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end financial reporting processes for the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC) business within the CFO organization. The role will involve daily Profit and Loss (P&L) reporting, balance sheet analysis, regulatory reporting, and risk management. You will collaborate with senior management, the front office, and various stakeholders to ensure accurate financial disclosures and regulatory compliance.

As a senior member of the team, the candidate will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating operational risks, streamlining processes, and leading key initiatives to enhance the financial reporting framework. The role will require a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily P&L reporting for sales and trading activities.

• Balance sheet reporting and analysis, including quarterly regulatory disclosures.

• Journal entries and month-end close processes to ensure accurate books and records.

• Independent price verification and comparison against trader values.

• Engage with senior stakeholders and regulators on financial performance and risk assessments.

• Support ongoing projects to optimize financial reporting processes and mitigate operational risks.

• Contribute to system implementations, upgrades, and changes within multi-system environments.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, including CCAR and RRP disclosures.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, product control, and risk management.

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience in analyzing complex financial data.

• Knowledge of financial products such as loans, bonds, derivatives, and equities.

• Strong understanding of GAAP, risk mitigation techniques, and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance.

• CPA or CFA certification.

• Prior experience in financial reporting for a trading business or within a CFO organization.

• Familiarity with FICC products and trading desk operations.

Pay range

$105,000.00 - $153,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
