Job Description:
Bank of America is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Technical Architect (STA) to support strategic internal programs at the bank. The STA will lead large and complex workstreams to ensure end-to-end automated solutions are successfully implemented and maintained. As a STA, you will be a key person on the strategic vision for the bank's ServiceNow Global Development Team that supports all initiatives on the ServiceNow platform. The STA will work on some of the most complex challenges and feature design on the ServiceNow platform. STA will work directly with the Principal ServiceNow Solution Architect on challenges related to solution fit, platform scalability and leading practices of implementation.
The STA will engage with various development teams during design and development of features to ensure application of design principle, use of solution best practices and best use of the core platform capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain the target architecture for the product and platform features in alignment with strategy
- Enforce platform engineering and development standards
- Ensure product team design and implementation strategy is in alignment with target state architecture
- Provide input to and sign off on implementation design for complex features
- Manage ServiceNow code quality control processes and routines
- Engage with development teams to review lower level design, ensure use of leading practices and standards; and review post development
- Anticipate work dependency across various platform features and applications and advise on potential collision scenarios
- Help product and development teams break down complex requirements for features and integrations into manageable development units and help establish order of activities
- Assist development teams with triaging and resolving on features and integrations during all phases
- Guide development teams on use of platform development tools and features
Requirements:
Education: B.E/BTech Comp Science, M.C.A,
Experience Range: 12 years - 20 years
Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Security Incident Response
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Vulnerability Response
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Risk & Compliance
Foundational Skills:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow technical consulting or implementation experience
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps and/or equivalent
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified System Admin
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 4 Managing Professional Certification with 5+ years of experience delivering solutions based on ITIL practices, or ITIL version 3 Expert certification
Desired Skills:
- ServiceNow cloud platforms and architecture
- Designing and implementing ServiceNow architecture, supporting software engineering, maximizing data processing systems, building cloud-compatible services, and operating within an enterprise IT lifecycle
- Experience with continuous integration between ServiceNow modules and integrated applications
- Experience in highly regulated IT lifecycle management, including system security, auditing, data processing and analytics, software development methodologies, and technology transitions
- Building and managing IT solutions, including integrating multiple services in ServiceNow or other cloud technologies
- Supporting ServiceNow integrations for security, risk, and compliance
- Supporting ServiceNow customer service with other supporting architecture and platforms
- ServiceNow platform management, data management, configuration and implementation, custom development, infrastructure management, and hosting
- Leveraging MID servers for integration and automation
- Front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JS
- Custom REST/SOAP APIs (web services)
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Interfacing with system data both inbound and outbound, both inbound and outbound
