Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing analytical support in a Global Markets Operations function for one or more operations product areas. Key responsibilities include analyzing and resolving highly complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. Job expectations include managing projects and the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes and coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Confirms loan documentation for accurate trade settlements
  • Partners with Sales Associates, Traders, Research Analysts, trading counterparties, internal and external attorneys, administrative agent banks, and various other internal operations groups
  • Manages post-trade management and logistics, settlement pricing, and closing coordination
  • Analyzes and resolves highly complex operational problems
  • Supports ad-hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives
  • Processes loans end-to-end with accurate data input into various credit and operating systems

Job Summary

Responsible for day-to-day analysis, research and resolution of complex and varied business partner requests involving Corporate actions events. Ensuring timely follow-up and completion, act as a strong SME with an in-depth understanding of the Corporate Actions process and impact on other groups and functions. Able to quickly understand & own all aspects of the internal systems, process flows, with the expectation to identify opportunities to improve the process. Build strong relationships with Business and Operations Partners across LOBs. Actively involved in the process knowledge training, creating Standard Operating Procedures along with building stronger controls thereby mitigating risk. Ensure team members are processing within deadlines as prescribed by the SLA's/KRI's. Sense of urgency and attention to detail are pivotal competencies required to perform the functions .

o Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs and within Operational Services.
o Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implication on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Process Corporate actions and maintenance requests. Act as a process SME
• Good understanding of Global Markets legal entity and account set-ups. Act as point of contact to client teams for data maintenance, supporting one or more Lines of Business (Global Banking)
• Complete work with a focus on accuracy & timeliness, ensuring Service Level Agreements & data quality standards are met
• Take ownership of issues/escalations and follow through to resolution in a timely and accurate manner
• Apply business perspective and knowledge of Bank of America business practices and procedures to solve business data requests and problems
• Build and maintain close working relationship with internal business partners. Understand their relationship with the Bank's customers and prospects.
• Expected to take on and resolve the most complex client relationships, problems and issues.
• Perform thorough daily peer review/QA
• Assists in training and development of new associates and entry-level positions.
• Lead and/or monitor projects as needed.
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations for process improvements. Assist with, or coordinate, the implementation of change as needed.

Required Skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of tools (Word/Excel/Power Point)
