The below FDCO description should be prefixed in all job descriptions:
The Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (FICC) & Derivative Core Operations (FDCO) team perform end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses.
Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control, Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic matching and settlement, Over the Counter (OTC) derivative confirmation and settlement, and commodities operations.

Responsibilities:
- Drafting Commodities confirmations vs ISDA legal confirmation based on trade bookings from the system of records (SOR)

- Affirmation of trade economics and chasing outstanding confirmations
- Liaison with multiple stakeholders including Legal and Trade Control and Front Office Trading and Sales
- Review and resolve discrepancies on incoming confirmations from counterparties and electronic matching platforms
- Measure trending client behaviors to identify candidates for automated confirmation processes.
- Review incoming confirmations
- Collaborate with team members across all regions to develop and maintain globally consistent documentation process

- Must be client focused with proven track record of excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mitigate operational risk by demonstrating excellent attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the market, regulatory and internal business environment
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must be able to operate successfully in a fast paced environment
