Job Description

The Canada Global Bulk Operations team handles a variety of post- transactional payment investigations on Global Bulk Payment System On Line Support. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for handling investigations from initiation to resolution with strong integration with the Product team providing expertise and guidance in support of client requests. Ad-hoc requests for information are also handled by the team. The team covers operating hours from 7am to 5pm EST, however, shift hours are subject to change as business needs arise to ensure sufficient coverage for functions. Some weekend work may be required for user acceptance testing or production check out requirements. The position will also be required to adapt and support other Treasury Operations teams. The Operations Analyst will report to the Department Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, document and close investigations detailing actions taken to resolve timely with all relative correspondence to support enquiry.
  • Monitor Queue for transactions to be actioned within set timelines. Prioritize work based on urgency of request.
  • Support Ad-hoc requests for information.
  • Support user acceptance testing and production check out requirements, as needed during scheduled weekends.
  • Complete other administrative duties as assigned including back up of critical functions and reporting requirements.
  • Address and respond to inquiries from business partners including support of projects or initiatives.
  • Archiving and controlling of department records
  • Required to work variety of shifts, including statutory holidays as required, based on departmental and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Global Banking System and Global Bulk Payment System On Line Support is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer skills.
  • Ability to write and speak French an asset.
  • Knowledge of the banks Treasury for Global Bulk products and understanding of payment processing and investigation experience an asset
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong collaboration skills working in a team environment
  • Ability to meet established deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
  • Experience in financial services preferred, but not required
