Location Overview:

Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London's greenest boroughs. Here you'll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.

Role Description:

The EMEA Payment Financial Crimes Team carry out post-monitoring reviews of payments and receipts and conduct further investigations on payment instructions which failed to meet adequate payment transparency to comply with local regulatory requirements under the Funds Transfer Regulation (EU Reg 2015/847), UK AML Info Reg & Swiss AML Ordinance FINMA.

The team are responsible for liaising with the offending banks to obtain all required information to make a decision based upon the outcome of investigation.

Responsibilities:

  • You will carry out analysis of Repeatedly Offending Payment Service Providers (PSP) and Intermediary Payment Service Providers transactions for both Payable and Receivables.
  • You will consult directly with other banks, or via Servicing for our own PSP clients to remediate their transactions.
  • You will handle all incoming regulatory enquiries for all EMEA branches from other banks via SWIFT and Email.
  • You will liaise with GFC (Global Financial Crimes), COR (Compliance and Operational Risk), GTS (Global Treasury Services) and TFSO to jointly review and assess findings to consider consequences.
  • You will provide and present reporting and dashboards to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • You will attend monthly Governance forums.
  • You will represent the team on various projects including Global Payment Transformations projects, operational excellence initiatives and technology enhancement calls.

What we are looking for:

  • You will have knowledge of the Funds Transfer Regulation and other global regulations.
  • You will have extensive knowledge of EMEA Payments and clearings.
  • You will have knowledge of GBS and GIN.
  • You will have the ability to compile reports and monthly dashboards.

Skills that will help (optional):

  • An excellent attention to detail will be advantageous.
  • Being intellectually curious will be advantageous.
  • Being able to identify trends through reporting to mitigate and reduce regulatory risk will be advantageous.
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) will be advantageous.
