Role Description:

Global Banking Operations (GBO) within EMEA has an exciting opportunity to expand their EMEA Branch Operations team in Brussels to cover the Operational related tasks for the Benelux. We are a team of 6, with two people covering each of Brussels, Luxembourg and Amsterdam.

The EMEA Branch Operations team work closely with other departments within GBO and other lines of business within the Bank across the globe. We provide support to our client facing colleagues and perform local operational tasks, such as the handling of client files, controls of account openings, closures, seizures etc.

Responsibilities:

  • You will Support Benelux business banking.
  • You will help internal business partners with handling their client account openings, closures, incorporations, change of ownership from a local perspective.
  • You will act as a point of contact for our internal business partners to help resolve client questions and issues related to local branch products/services
  • You will provide support to the other operational teams in Benelux.
  • You will assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and liaise with compliance on completion.

What we are looking for:

  • You will have Fluency in Dutch, English and good knowledge of French.
  • You will have experience working in a fast-paced international environment and have the capability to deal with tight deadlines and urgent ad hoc matters.
  • You will have flexibility and be eager to learn.

Skills that will help (optional):

  • Notions on local banking practice, cash management, treasury products and operational banking processes (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) preferred.
