Job Description:

Main point of contact for counterparties/ clients of Bank of America N.A Seoul branch and provide trade support and settlement services of Global markets products. Candidate is expected to handle various FICC products such as FX, rates, and its derivatives, and deliver the end to end support for Global Markets Sales and trading in Korea including client onboarding, trade support, settlement and regulatory reporting. Up to date market knowledge on key initiatives and developments within global markets business are essential. You'll be closely working with client/front line of business to ensure transactions are processed under the proper governance and control. And also proactively drive to achieve process optimizations and system enhancement in the process.

Responsibilities:
- Support daily operation for global markets settlement
- Perform related regulatory reporting.
- Timely response to client queries regarding trade activitives and settlement
- Fail reporting/escalation
- Liaising with other internal/external counterparts to ensure timely settlement/resolution of settlement issues
- Involvement in ad hoc issues such as new processes or industry initiative, regulatory inspection support etc.
- Break investigation and resolution

Requirements:
- Presentable, confident and client focused.
- Excellent communications skills both in Korean & English and ability to present to manager and team/client
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
- Self motivated and able to work under supervision. Candidate should be able to manage own time and know when to escalate.
- Previous experience related to settlement of Money Market, FX, Bond and Derivatives products is preferred
- Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money protection and Funding is preferred
- Python/VBA skillsets are preferred
